UNDERSTANDING LIP FILLER

Made for your lips.
Not a template.

Lip filler is an injectable treatment that can enhance fullness and definition. We discuss your natural lip shape, facial proportions, and previous treatment before recommending an approach.

The goal is a result that feels considered within your whole face. Bring inspiration if it helps describe your preferences, while keeping in mind that another person’s anatomy cannot be recreated.

01

Shape

Talk through the outline and proportions you would like to refine.

02

Fullness

Discuss your preferred degree of volume, from subtle to more noticeable.

03

Expression

Keep your smile and the way your lips move part of the conversation.

YOUR VISIT

A conversation first.
A decision together.

Thoughtful care starts with listening.

  1. Share your starting point.

Discuss your goals, medical history, medications, allergies, and any previous injectable treatments. Bring available product records.

  2. Understand the recommendation.

Katie explains the proposed approach, alternatives, recovery, limitations, and cost. Ask questions and take the time you need.

  3. Make an informed choice.

If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, your provider reviews consent and the plan with you.

  4. Keep the conversation open.

Leave with tailored aftercare and a follow-up plan. Know how to contact the practice with concerns.

RECOVERY & FOLLOW-UP

Give the process
room to settle.

Lips can look fuller or uneven while swelling settles. Follow your individual aftercare instructions and attend the recommended review before judging the final shape or considering additional filler.

Possible risks include swelling, bruising, infection, lumps, and allergic reactions. Rare injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue loss, vision loss, or stroke.

Seek immediate medical attention for vision changes, severe or unusual pain, or pale, gray, or blue skin after filler. Trouble breathing or signs of a severe allergic reaction also require emergency care.

A LITTLE CLARITY

Your questions.
Thoughtful answers.

How much is lip filler?

Lip filler is $695 per syringe. Your provider confirms the proposed amount and total price before treatment.

Is lip filler the same as a lip flip?

No. Filler adds material to change volume or shape. A lip flip uses a neuromodulator and has different goals and risks. Ask which, if either, fits your concern.

What if I have had cold sores?

Tell your provider before scheduling treatment, even if you have no current symptoms. Your history may change preparation or timing.

Can I have treatment just before an event?

Plan ahead. Swelling and bruising are possible, and settling time varies. Discuss the event date before booking rather than relying on an immediate finished result.
